Ricardo, I'm shipping the rest of the cases to you tomorrow. The warehouse was closed this afternoon.

Everyone,

When these interfaces finally ship and you are impressed with the beautiful case it will come in, we will have Fred to thank! Fred stumbled on these thing for practically free.

Hi Everyone,

Our good man Bill Verberg volunteered to help me chase down the 993 problems I was having which turned out to be 993 specific and immobilizer related for late 95 models. As his reward he got one my 5 hand built prototypes and all the cables and cases everyone else will get.

Right now all the interface PCBs are at the assembly house and they should ship out to me next week. Then I just have to attach the appropriate cable/connector, and box and ship.

The last hurdle I am jumping is making my own 19 pin connectors, some early set backs, but I think I am finally on track to a working solution that meets my criteria. Hopefully that will wrap up next week as well.

If you sent me your Mojorizing connector then I can ship your unit quickly, same thing with the 993 OBDII connector guys as those connectors I was able to purchase.

Thanks for your patience everybody!

Will I be able to activate te ABS solenoids so I can bleed air out of the ABS pump? Don't ask me how I got it there in the first place please!

RedRS

The Scantool freeware written by DougB does NOT have the ability to bleed the PDAS system. It does have the ability to communicate with the ABS system and read and clear troublecodes.

All the best,
Ricardo

Default Scantool Interface Update

The PCB assemblies have arrived and I now have all the parts to start building and testing. I completed 6 units today and invoiced those group buy members. When your unit is ready to ship you will receive an invoice via Paypal and I will ship upon receipt of payment.

Thanks for your patience everyone, I am trying to put them all together now as fast as I can, but since I am a one man operation, it takes a while to do final assembly, test the device on my car, pack up the item, then box and ship. So hang on, your interface is finally here and coming to you soon!

My interface arrived today, many thanks Ricardo and all the others whose input helped make this happen.

It looks just as it does in the photo above - In summary: Good enough to go on sale in stores in my opinion.

I'm looking forward to giving it a test (tonight hopefully).

Thanks again!

Adam

Adam,

Thanks for your kind feedback. I plan to email everyone left on the list tomorrow to explain what's taking so long. The fact is I am swamped in orders, demand turned out to be about triple what I expected. I've shipped about 20 units so far which is what I thought the total run will be. So I am slowly making my way down the list and shipping a few every couple of days.

Took 11 days to reach you in Great Britain, not too bad.

Ricardo, I know you ordered extras, but if you think you will run out of cases, let me know as soon as you can. I don't know how long the cases will be available. The units look great, thanks for doing this.

I'm good on cases by taking that gamble and ordering plenty of extras, at $1 a piece it was a no brainer to stock up.

Its the best part of the whole thing, makes it feel like a real product, keeps everything protected, and lets you store it without that jumble of wires look it would have without.

Ricrado
