I'm looking at a 1989 944 turbo for sale in Phoenix next week and would like recommendations on a shop who could do a "neutral" PPI if I decide to move forward. I'm coming from out of town and have no connections to the Porsche world in Phoenix. I have 4 Porsches but have zero experience with 944's (I have been lurking on this forum to learn.....). Given that, a shop that can give me a good evaluation is needed. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

+1 on Don Jackson. Used them for years. In fact, I moved to Norcal years ago, and they still service my car. I have intercity lines ship to them every 2-3 years, and drive it back. Mechanics in SF bay area expect too much for their labor, and dont know 44's. Seriously....my lawyers arent much more an hour than mechanics here. Its nuts.

+1 for Stuttgart Southwest. Exotic Motorwerks is also very good and specializes in 944/928s. EM services my 944 Turbo
