Default Is Deutsch Nine now Sportwagen Zuerich

From posts on here I thought <Deutsch Nine> were out of business even though their website was still up. Today I was browsing and found <Sportwagen Zuerich> and noticed they carry the same products as Deutsch Nine. Anyone know what is going on?

So it's the same people running the new company or did they sell it off to a new group to run?

IIRC D9 was owned/operated by a pair of guys that had good intentions but could not deliver for whatever reason. They split and one of them started Sportwagen with the same product line.

I ordered an item and did receive it without damage, others have not been as fortunate.

They appeared to be re sellers of most of the parts on their website. Search the internet and the original supplier could be located.

Although they've received mixed reviews here on RL in regard to parts availability and shipping delays I ordered a rear seat delete from them 7 years or so ago and it showed up at my door two weeks later without issue. IIRC on their website that had a disclaimer that many of their items were "bespoke", i.e. not in stock and made to order.

They were reasonably quick with orders and their customer service was ok when they first started back then. They got worse as time went on to the point of not delivering items or answering emails. The "bespoke" aspect of some of their lines means they relied on third-party manufacturers to produce some of their items. Problem is they didn't communicate well any expectation of shipping.
Shame really, they had some nice stuff.

I agree Mike they did have some great items. I really liked the fact that they were creating new pieces for vehicles that haven't been produced in 20+ years.

I bought stuff from sportwagen Zurich just before Christmas. Had to contact them a few times to get the stuff but got them within 6 weeks.
Finish and fit of the parts was ok but not great. Emailed questions afterwords but still wait for an answer. All in all pretty ok since most vendors aren't really super fast and when it comes to parts like this there really aren't many at all that make them so I guess at least for me It was an ok experience.
