Ah, he said he was packing for a trip the other day. Say hello
Indeed! I'm obsessed with weight now. Adding even more aero so weight will go up. But at least we're putting the alu torque tube back in (with some extra bracing) so that will offset a little
But a long way to get into the 2100 lbs region. But I do have an air compressor on board amongst other things

Tony,
My biggest concern to get to the target weight is also the wheels and brakes.
I am going to run 18x11 on front and 18x11.5 rear I have cup rear calipers with 330 mm floating rotors(I did have 350mm but not using) Fronts are GT2 calipers with 360MM Full floating rotors
2000lbs. may be tough, but we believe it is achievable.

Race Car
Man, you know you got your suspension pieces refinished to the max when you have them stored and ready on bubble wrap....
Got the 968 along enough today for Dave and Eon to each take a lap around the peanut at NPR .
Eon's supposed to race it at NOLA NASA weekend of the 20th....

Three Wheelin'
70's flat track Harley, sweet! I used to watch Jay Springsteen and the boys at our local horse race track in the 70's.
You need to just buy my car and you will have everything you need. I had wheels made by Formula 43, they were pricey but they are awesome.

Guys,
FYI, I have been working with Bruce 95One on his new design of the Torsion Bar Delete.
He supplied me with the new design a few weeks ago, Looks great!! Much stronger than the originals. I have not installed it yet.
I originally had two of Bruce's units, the early one did bend. I installed the second one of the originals in which I modified and is currently on one of my track cars for over two years.
His new design is very similar in materials to the Kokeln steel bar.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

P.S. Jim, I love those wheels. To rich for my blood.
I have built a set of Kinesis 11X18 for the front and 11.5X18 for the rear to start.
Are you seriously thinking about selling your car?

T,
It's Great to hear the Yellow Beast is running and made a few laps.
Unfortunately I can't be a NOLA that weekend. Excited to see Eon in that car!!!
See you all soon.
