I'm sure other people are thinking this so I'm just going to say it... The title of this thread should have been "I owned an awesome 944 turbo once but when I broke it I decided not to fix it since I shouldn't have owned the car in the first place..." 😐

I would add to that the fact that he ignored good technical advise, continued to doing the same mistakes over and over and he had the worst or the most retarded mechanic in all FL which he also was told to change. Actually wasn't there a fabulous good bye thread, in LA the I35 is a sissy girl's car, at least here on SoCal is driven by guys on Sunset and Santa Monica Blvd.

Your lack of BMW experience makes you say these absurdities, you are talking about the 128i, the same body style minus turbos and wider wheels...Jeremy Clarkrson loved it...

Have to disagree. Owned many BMW's, and the M series cars may be getting heavier, but they are engineered "knowing" the eventual weight. Driven a "heavy" GTR lately - close to 4k lbs. doesn't "feel" 1000 lbs. heavier than my 951.

This E46 went on a "shake" diet! NA - spins to 9200rpm - 400+ WHP. Well sorted beast.

Yep, I was thinking it too. It's like some woman celebrating her anniversary and posting her wedding pics, then saying, oh yeah, I left him and got a divorce about three years ago, and took half of what he's worth...

Killer BMW - great motor - nice pictures.

I'll always be an M series fan/owner. Doesn't mean I don't appreciate great cars, or their owners/fans. Thanks for sharing your ride. My daily is black - wash that F***** way too much!

Regards,

G

What else was in the motor beside being a 3.0 . I look at cars like the 135 and TT-RS and wonder how they would compare to a 350 bhp 944T ?

I used to own one of those 135i, I'd never call it a sports car. And certainly not an excitement machine like a 951
