Got the VarioCam working tonight! It is Arduino controlled and is currently setup to actuate between 1500 rpm and 5500 rpm. Makes a HUGE difference with the short runner intake. Big difference in mid range, car feels very strong at low boost.

That's great, but you had me going for a second there Shawn. I was really expecting your first charts! :-) Good to know the Variocam is going to be a real advantage.

Great news. Can't wait to see results.

Did you ever weigh the rod setup to compare them to others like Pauter, Carrillo, Wossner etc?

I did use Wossners in my build and did wight them. The difference in my case was 255 grams per rod.

Funny the intercooler pipe pics, when aluminum color, look large but the black coating on the later pics makes them look like they are smaller diameter.

Funny what colors do to the eye. I really like the pipes in black, draws the eye to the motor.

Out making 3rd gear pulls this afternoon and on a 17 psi pull the tires broke loose at 5500 rpm when the Variocam turned off. That was interesting. Going to have to look at this while on the dyno. I think we are ready to hit the dyno. We have 2 hrs scheduled for this Thursday
