Anybody using an Innovate Motorsports SCG-1 Boost Controller and wideband?
Was thinking about getting one but can't find many reviews. $325 for a boost controller and Wideband is very interesting.

I'm running one,the AFR function seems to be spot on but
The boost control feature is a bit erratic. I had a very hard time accurately controlling boost, seemed like it was too slow to react and there isn't a sensitivity adjustment. I plan on going to an E-Boost 2 eventually.

I posted about the Innovate SCG-1 a while ago and figured it might have been worth trying. I have an LC-1 which is ok. Then I thought it's better to wait for this.

UPDATE! I recently changed out my SCG-1 for a AEM and in the process found that most of my issues if not all were from crappy crimp connectors. I took my time doing the new install soldering all connections and used my trusty LC2 and gauge and now everything works perfectly. I don't see myself using the SCG-1 anytime soon if anyone is interested PM me.

I have a turbosmart that I will use for my next turbo project and I have a few WB setups, and I agree I pretty much use innovate WB controllers. The SCG-1 is nice for someone that wants minimal gauges and I am sure if you solder all your connections it will work great, I just don't see myself using it anytime soon. It took a day to solder all my connections for the current setup so I am not going to change it back

I just installed the SCG-1 along with the A-Tune and LR dual-port WG.
Any suggestions on what wastegate duty % I should aim for?
My only legitimate complaint with this gauge thus far are the units. I don't want inches mercury for pressure, but you can't get PSI alone - only kPa or bar. Any idea if this can be customized further using a laptop?

Try 8 to 10% and work your way up slowly until you get to your desired boost level. You should be able to get the gauge to display PSI,IIRC it will show PSI when on boost.

I guess I'll need to find a lonely highway to mess around with the duty settings.

I wish I had time to modify a stock waste-gate to dual port or both time and money to buy a new one so I can put my SG-1 in my daily.
What waste-gate are you using? what turbo?
