Project 944 Turbo

Another setback this morning (what's new huh?). Was so happy to get my doorcards retrimmed with new fabric but when i reached the shop, turns out my doorcards were in such bad shape (water damaged very badly on the lower parts) , they didn't want to take on the job.
So now, need to source for doorcards and i guess whatever budget i had for retrimming will be going towards buying the panels. FML...

Don't let it get to you too much. The night is always darkest just before the dawn!

Great project! I love that you're willing to spend all the time and money to get it back on the road. Too many of these cars have deteriorated or been destroyed because people didn't care much for them in the past. Also, I couldn't help but smile when I saw the picture of your yellow 944 and your girlfriends 1-series with the wheels in the back - I drive a yellow 944S and my girlfriend drives a 1-series as well.
I look forward to following your project!

Visited the car over the wkend
Rear subframe is off the car (it was sent to an engineering shop to get the sheared off and stuck-on bolts removed properly).
Gearbox and differential is on the table getting rebuilt and put back together. Torque tube has also been removed and getting rebuilt.
For those wondering about the stock clutch vs HD clutch, here they are side by side. The dirtier one is stock. HD clutch does not have the smaller springs on the inside.
