Very impressive looking Patrick. Like the rail mounts.

Hi Patrick,
Point taken. Theoretical discussions often end up displays of arrogance. My bad.

Have to remind myself that it's better to be good than right!

More positive and constructive comments from me henceforth.

If it turns out that you end up with a maldistribution problem in the plenum, there are some quick/effective/adjustable mods you can make. Hopefully we won't have that conversation.

Cheers,
Mike

Mike, please don't take my late night ramblings as any form of negativity towards you. I definitely enjoy your input and bow to your tech knowledge and experience. I would prefer people did speak their mind than say nothing. We will tune with Trim and fine tune with EGTs.

No worries Patrick, I just have to rein myself in sometimes. I miss playing around with racecars.
Cheers,
Mike

Back in the day it was reckoned unequal length headers spread torque over a wider rev range, varioram etc suggests the same applies to intakes.

Just for reference this is about the length my intake and Lindsey's use, and that opens up the high rpm breathing big time over the stock intake, with no other mods on the head or 9R camshaft.

I thought they would have been shorter than that Thom? Interesting. The inner diameter is more like 1.85" on ours for reference.

Woops sorry, my memory is playing up. The length my intake and the Lindsey is using is about 220 mm from bellmouth to back of valve.
