Default 4V ITB

Whew. The first set of throttles is finally in house and the quality is exceptional. I'm making three sets of cast aluminum intake manifolds for 944S/S2/968 heads and would like to order two additional sets of throttles and get them in the field. Throttle size is 55mm. Please email or call if you're interested in a set, but please no tire-kickers. I'm sure results will be posted and sets beyond these initial three can be accommodated. My contact is michaelmount123@gmail, or 301 502 4488.

A set will include: intake manifold, throttles, linkage, throttle cable, TPS, phenolic spacer (blocks heat from head), fuel rail. No gaskets will be required as everything is sealed with o-rings. Owners will need to provide injectors, plenum (if required), air cleaner.

You need to stop posting stuff like this. Every time I see you start a post I'm almost dreading clicking on it as I know it will be something exceptional that I would really like. Thank god I don't own a 16v in my collection, but now you got me thinking....what if?

Very nice. If one goes this route what is the best source for a 968 head. Searching the net they seem hard to find.

What kind of price and is it a direct replacement for the 951 intake and throttle?

Lovely, Michael! Why the notches on the perimeter of the air horns?

I would guess horns are screw-on and those notches are for tightening..

There's been a healthy amount of inquires about using this system on a turbo (oh yea, this is a turbo forum, silly me). The configuration is intended to be suitable for boosted applications as the air horns allow a simple way to seal a flat bottomed plenum - they screw on at the top. I'd be open to someone creating a turbo plenum using these throttles, and would help with dimensions and guidance on proper plenum design. I've got too many other things going at the moment to pursue it myself.
