Does anyone have experience with the Gates Racing timing belts? I understand they do not stretch much,does that mean they get tensioned to the used belt spec when installed new? I think if I set it to the standard new belt tension and it doesn't stretch it's gonna be too tight.

Stick to the normal one i did not like mine..

I've been running the Gates belt on my race car for several years. We tensioned it to normal specs when it was installed. No issues.
