Are you always this rude! The guy is selling wheels, maybe not for everyone, but geez. He is being very up front about the details.

BTW: A set of 18" FACTORY OEM Turbo Twist (standards) found on the nb 993/996 are 18X8 24.75 front and 18X10 30-lbs rear.

This means that if you are swapping from that factory set of 18" Turbo wheels and up-sizing to the set of 19" in the O/T we have you're actually not only going up one 1" in diameter but you are saving 3.5-lbs.. With the OS Design II (what you are referring to as Fuchs) you could be saving around around 7-lbs.

Thanks for all the info.

What would shipping to NY be for the Fuchs replicas?

Also and maybe the Community can chime in here...Will these fit my 89 951 ok?

I thought that 18 was pretty much the limit.

Doubtful, fejj. 18's will work, but the geometry on the 19's will be pretty far out of whack. Can you do it? Maybe, but not well.

Nice look but I always think 19s look a tad too big in 944s. Nice price tho.

Maybe not on this board but on Planet 9 and 6 Speed it's another story. I personally had issue with them and can only urge to ask a lot of questions BEFORE you buy anything from them.

We appreciate your support, there are not a lot of shops who wish to support older model Porsche cars and we certainly understand that the market is not that strong. However we hope to continue to support the Porsche cars that have helped build our customer base all these years.

We used to offer these same fit wheels years ago and recently we decided to re-open the mold for a short production run in order to see if it was a good move or not.

We appreciate feedback and certainly will strive to earn the business our customers so if anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

Sincerely,

-WD

For the 944 community, we really need affordable 18" wheels with et 26 and et 52 widths. Those are the sizes that will get you the most customers, from our communit, due to fitment.

Sorry buddy,
Quick question, and maybe you can get with the guys who did the install, or the car owner, but how much clearance is there on that car? Was any additional camber needed, to give clearance, etc.? What tires sizes were used? Basically, other than bolt them on, what had to be done.

I'm certain that this information would help a lot of perspective customers of late model 951's, such as fejj. For that price, I wouldn't mind a set of "purty" wheels, even on the heavy side. Road wheels shouldn't be super light and expensive anyway...because ROADS!

Thanks, in advance, for the info.

I agree with ehall, we can fit 87+ offset wheels on 86's with spacers but I'd prefer a set of 18's if I went this route. I already have a set of MY02's which need some work but wouldn't mind something else to run in place of my beloved CCW's.

We used a 235/35/19 and 305/30/19 on this set-up for test fitment only because that is what we had readily available. The fitment is tight so I would recommend using a 275/30/19 just to be on the safe side for the rears.

Thanks for your feedback, what sizes are you interested in using those off-sets.

You will have MANY Fuchs replica buyers if you make them in 18"

Unfortunately those are not our molds, so we cannot make changes to that wheel.

Thanks for your .02
