Recently Acquired 18" Turbo Twists hollow spokes for 86 951, need some help

I have 18x9.5 -1 on the rear with 265 tires all round my 86 turbo. They fit perfect with the guard lip cut out and 2deg of camber.
When I first put them on they were rubbing hard on the outside during acceleration and cornering.
None of the guard rolling guys around here could get their roller on my stud pattern (Porsche's aren't common here) so I ended up grinding off the lip.
It was a lot easier than expected and you can't really go wrong as long as you pause a lot and let the paint cool off. I would definitely recommend grinding the lip off over trying a baseball bat or something.
I also run 2 degrees of camber in the back and now don't have any rubbing issues any more.
So, now to your wheels, according to this helpful tool;

With 15mm spacers, your wheels will sit 12mm further in than mine. Without the spacers, they will sit 22mm further in than mine. So your fitment should be fine and either way and you will have less rubbing than me. If you run around 2 deg of camber you might not even need to roll/grind your lip off. If you run without spacers you shouldn't need any camber or rolling. I'm just not sure if you have enough clearance on the inside of your wheel to run without spacers.

I now have tried 15mm spacers on the rear with fully rolled fenders and still get some rubbing at high speeds over expansion joints. I wonder if a 12mm spacer would do the trick?

Yes I have 295's on the rear and 245 on the front. I use the 86 rear offset and 87 and later offset on the front. 7mm spacers all around with 1" longer then stock studs and steel lug. nuts.

David pagan Turbo twist on 1986 Turbo
LUV THE 1986 OFFSET
REAR OFFSET First make sure your suspension is firm especially in the rear ( koni yellows or Bilstein sports) work well for the money
up front can use a 1nch bolt on spacer or i prefer the 87 off set change over ,The rear add 67mm longer studs with the wafer spacer for clearance , make sure your check the emergency break cable , it will touch the inside on the rear wheels and you can also trim the metal tab witch stick out top center of the chassis ( slightly grid the bolt also ) . there's about 13 inchs of wheel well to play with. Dp951 need any exact measurements pm me ( I have her in for service this week )
I also like the metal lug nuts especially if are not using longer studs and just using the small wafer spacers, you dont want the threads to pull out .
