Mono Steering Wheel Install on an 87 951 with ABS
I am planning to install a Momo steering wheel and Momo Hub on my 87 951 that currently still has the stock airbag Steering wheel. Has anyone recently done this conversion? I know there are two issues that I will need to address: 1) Dealing with the ABS circuitry and 2) retaining the signal canceling feature that I have been told is lost with this conversion.
I think I have a handle on dealing with the ABS issues but I still have questions regarding the actual installation of the steering wheel hub.
And yes I have searched past threads. One thread indicated that I will need to buy part 928-652-104-00 and "clip or snap???" it onto the hub but none of these threads have detailed step by step instructions with pictures. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Disconnect the battery, wait 10-20min, the remove the airbag wheel. You can plug a 3ohm, or three 10ohm (in paralell) resistors, into the airbag wires plug. this will fool the system into thinking that airbag is still there. The other aitbag will still work as normal.
Now, if you want the horn to work, the easiest way is to find a wiper/turn signal stalk from any 85.5-1995 model NON-AIRBAG 944/951/968 (yes, there were later models sold without airbags outside usa!) i have two spares. This will make the horn plug and play.

Why would it matter if the car has abs or not (anti lock brakes)? I am assuming you are talking about the SRS system?
Just curious as everyone else seems to chime on this, I would like to know for future ref. if I get a later car.

Sorry, when I wrote ABS....I meant Air Bag System....rather than Anti Lock Brakes
I want to thank everyone for their input so far. I really appreciate it.
