Anyone here used centric brake rotors. They seem to be available very very cheaply. Roughly $30 per rotor from rockauto and similar places. Here are some examples:

I have heard spec miata guys use basic centric rotors without any reports of failure. In general, as long as rotors are inspected frequently, I've rarely heard of any failures with most rotors. Most failures actually seem to be some of the more expensive cross drilled rotors with cracks propagating from the drilled or cast holes.

So, anyone used or have opinions on these over typical $100 zimmerman or similar rotors?

Yeah I know. You actually have to carry some speed to need to use brakes right!

But no, really, spec miata probably carries more corner speed than many 944's and they are much lighter so rotor temps may not get as high as us. Sounds like most of the 944 guys are cashed up and have plenty of money to spend on expensive rotors. Any budget 944 guys here using cheap rotors?

I've not used the Centrics, but have used the $30 OPbrand from paragon with no issues.
