WTB: Front splitter (CPR or others)
Hey guys,
I'm just snooping around to see if anybody is selling their CPR front splitter.
I could also be interested in A.I.R. or GT splitters as well if the price is right. Any other product I don't know of (besides Deutsch 9)?
Any experience regarding pros / cons of the various options out there would be appreciated too. For instance, is there any advantage to going with the $250 "street version" of the A.I.R. splitter vs. the $125 "race version"?
PS - This is for a street car that sees a few track days a year.
thanks.

Here is the splitter I got from Tony Garcia. I had it coated with Line-X truck bed liner.
I do not know if he has any left. Last I knew he had one more sitting around.

The Texas Performance Concept splitter looks nice and seems to be fairly priced. That Tony Garcia splitter coated with Line-X truck bed liner looks very nice and sturdy.
The extra rigidity and scratch protection would be most appreciated. The damage that will inevitably occur has always kept me from purchasing a front splitter.
Is it possible to have any splitter coated with the Line-X truck bed liner or some such similar product? Is there a do it yourself type of product or is it a in-shop only application?

Like I said at the bottom of my post, this is a street car that will see 2 - 3 days of track a year. So I don't want a crazy projection, 2 - 3 inches at most, and I'd prefer it to be constructed of something more durable than fibreglass. That's what lead me to the CPR unit as I believe they were made from urethane.
I like the looks of the Texas Perf. splitter, thanks for the suggestion guys. It is a little on the expensive side but at least it's already gel-coated.

Almost the entire area sticking forward is fiberglass reinforced with balsa wood. There are DIY bed liner products. You would need to research what the different ones will adhere to.
