have an extinguisher on hand the first time you run it should be a no brainier .. always use 2 spanners for every connection to avoid damaging stuff .always try to arrange the 2 spanners about 15-45 degrees apart so you are pushing them together these reduces the risk of damage to the the rail etc due to reduced movement of the fittings

I just replaced my Rennbay fuel lines yesterday (preventitive maintenance) and I had the previous ones on for 3 1/2 years, my mechanic threw them on, took him about 15 minutes, they are great Aeroquip hoses!! All he did was cut the old one off the fittings and slide the new ones on, very easy, I paid $21 for the 3 hoses at Hydraulic Supply...

Damn, thats my problem - I have been using wrenches....I can't even find a spanner around here!

Seriously - good advice from down under. Fuel at 60 pst has to be taken seriously.

Sebastian, I did it and it was fairly easy. I didn't cut the return line. I was able to get the old press clamp out without cutting the line. I remenber that one of the hoses was more difficult than the other. Like it was mentioned above have a fire extinguisher in the car just in case something goes wrong.

Of course I had to cut to length. Also once I removed the old lines and found the protective tube also allowed air to pass between it and the fuel hose, I cleaned and reused it.

The kit you listed only has the supply and return lines. The small jumper line needs to be purchased separately.

I'll take some pics tomorrow.
