Autothority MAF question
I recently acquired a Autothority MAF fairly cheap and the wiring harness was cut.
I have the side of the harness that plugs into the MAF, but missing the side that plugs into the car. I have searched around the forums and found a wiring diagram and picture, but mine seems to be a newer model MAF. My MAF has a built in air intake sensor rather than a potentiometer. The part number on this is HWS.02.951.100.
What would be helpful would be a wiring diagram or someone telling me what colored wires go to what colored wires and pictures.
The wiring diagram that I am speaking of for a old style MAF is located at https://rennlist.com/forums/5520518-post1.html
Like I said that has the potentiometer in it, where as mine is a real AIS.
Thank you very very much!
Zach

Zach, In the picture you posted a link to, the Potentiometer is taking the place of the IAT you have on your system. Unless you have a modified APE chip, the potentiometer might be the way to go. Also, in the picture there is a wire missing from the MAF plug. You should have 4 wires. The middle 2 wires are ground wires and should be connected together. (in the picture the second ground wire is missing).
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the input John.
The harness that I have, only has three wires as well. I not sure why a potentiameter would be better than a real IAT that can automatically adjust.
Like I said a picture of the new Autothority wiring harness would be wonderful.
