"Standard turbo (sure) and plastic tires. "

Actually, I believe this. I just put a 3" Fabspeed system on my car. Every claim they make is true - +.15 bar boost, quicker spool, and yes my car breaks the tires loose in 1st gear now (I have Dunlop SP9000's 245 in rear - definitely not plastic), which didn't happen with a stock or aftermarket 2.5" exhaust. I'll be getting the downpipe when I install my new turbo.

It looks a good product to me, I just found the idea that by bolting on this exhaust suddenly your stock car becomes something that you can barely control as evidenced by the guy in the video who was VERY lucky no other car was coming his way because he was out of control for sure.

Every turbo I pull gets a new downpipe now.....one of these days I will get my turbo pulled and put my pipe on which has been laying here for a year now. We are running quite a few of these now!

Hey Doc,

Is that a straight bolt on to a stock turbo?

Yup, sure is. Doesn't have the provisions to bolt to the block like the stock pipe, but other than that, it is a direct bolt on, with copper gasket (not shown).

I haven't screwed around with replacing a turbo. Is it a problem that it doesn't bolt to the block?
TIA

IMHO, no. Some people say that in a rear collision, if your exhaust gets pushed forward, that the DP bolted to the block will prevent turbo damage. I haven't personally seen any turbo damage from a rear end collision, but not to say it couldn't happen. For me, the last thing I am worried about in a rear end collision is the turbo

Hi n dub, that is Joe Fabiani the owner of Fabspeed speaking in all the videos. You can tell by his rocky balboa voice..

Hi mtnman82, thanks for feedback and its true, the full exhaust setup really wakes up the car and puts on boost much faster. Its like night and day and spinning the tires is a nice addition to the exhaust, as you can see in the video.. PM or email me when your ready or if you have any questions and I will work out a nice rennlist discount for you on the downpipe.

Thanks everyone,
Alex@fabspeed.com

PM Sent with product information.

The LR exhaust looks like a great product and uses Mandrel bent tubing for maximum flow which is a great design feature. I don’t know what type of stainless steel there system uses but our 3.0" system is made from T304 16 gauge stainless steel and includes the full exhaust with Muffler and tip as a package. There exhaust system does not include the mufflers so it has to be purchased separately. Fabspeed has all products in stock and ready to ship at all times. Let us know how we can help.

Thanks for the Feedback Willard, happy to hear your pleased with the products.

Thanks,
Alex@fabspeed

I run there 4inch stainless steel system on my car as well. Whenever its clean and shiney people always comment on how nice it looks. Performs wonderful and with the magnaflow muffler sounds deep and not ricey.

Its a great product and like most great products it costs.

Thanks Paseb, it isn't normal that exhaust products look like that but Fabspeed products are a work of art and most 944T owners dont realize that it is becoming more common that the inner walls are collapsing on the stock downpipes, and block the proper exhaust flow. If you are going to have your turbo off or be working around it, I advise getting the downpipe and replacing it!

Its a nice upgrade and well worth it when doing work with the turbo to make the installation easier. We have the 944 Turbo Top pipes in stock and we are doing a $250 special till March 1st. PM or email for more information.
