Hey guys, I didn't have any luck in the 951 forum, so maybe you guys can help me.

I'm just about finished rebuilding my sunroof motor (which needed just about EVERY part replaced), and I am down to one final little part that has failed.

There is a plastic compression fitting/coupling between the motor assembly and the metal cable tube that goes up the C pillar. Mine does not keep the 2 tubes together anymore. Looks like this part is NLA and I could be S.O.L. Have you guys ever seen this part or heard of any way to fix it? Without it, when I operate the motor, it just pushes the tube and motor assembly apart until they kink.

This part is essentially a plastic Chinese finger trap, and one end is missing the small plastic collar insert (look hard on the right side of the coupling and you will see it missing).

I would say some j/b weld is in order if part cannot be sourced. Just make sure tube is 'etched' for j/b to hold.
