Timing belt change without removing crank pulley
Hey guys,
here is a video of changing the timing belt without removing the crank pulley. So no need for a flywheel lock or Allen key in the passenger side hole of the bell house. Also, the video shows the installation of reference sensors and the first startup of my $400 944.

No need for the lock but the lock is still recommended even if you choose to not remove the crank pulley as it is still possible to move the crank when setting the belt.
As a side note it's only possible to change the timing belt without removing the crank pulley on the 8-valve cars (NA and turbo)...the 16-valve cars have a modified crank pulley/balancer that prevents slipping the belt in place. And the 968 has a whole 'nuther bracket inside the cover also preventing belt-slipping-in.
