I made my own special tools out of two pieces of 1/4 X 1 inch metal bar stock and two pieces of 1 inch X 1 inch wood strips. I drilled them so that they mounted to four of the cam cover bolt holes and carved small half circles in the wood to support and protect the cams. The wood sits across the cams and the metal bar stock sits on top of the wood. The holes are drilled in the same spots on the wood and the bar stock. I used the bar stock in case the wood was not strong enough by itself.
