944 Auxiliary Air Regulator Question
Does anyone have a link to a good video on how to replace the Aux Air Regulator on an 84 944 2.5L?
Getting at this part through the spaces in the intake manifold looks extremely difficult at best.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

As a follow up I also found this video on youtube of a 944 that idles similar to mine. The owner unplugs something (power to the MAF?) and the car idles perfectly. He plugs it back in and the car idles terribly again. Unfortunately he doesn't offer any insight on what he's doing, so here are my questions:
1) What did he unplug?
2) Did he prrove that the MAF was bad or that the DME was bad? Or something else?
3) Would he have been able to run the car with that unplugged or does that risk serious damage?
Thanks again for any insight.

Looking for 1982 928 front chin spoiler
Well I just bought another Porsche. Clearly this is becoming an addiction...
I'm looking for a front chin spoiler for my 1982 928 Base.
Anyone out there have one for sale at a reasonable price?

To answer your original question, removing the intake manifold to get to the air valve is very easy actually.
If you look around at all the connections and hoses and things, and work gently, you should be able to get it off the engine in about 30 minutes. Be sure to replace the manifold-to-head gaskets!
