New: looking for mechanic in New Kent Virginia
Hi folks,
I joined this group long ago with an '84 944. I stopped doing seal replacements in that car and eventually it got milkshake in the water. I took it to a local 'foreign car' shop which promptly pulled the heads, lost the heads and it has been in the shop for 3 years.
I have not given up. Over the weekend I bought a '90 s2 convertible (124,00) garaged for 6 years, which is 150 miles away in Maryland. I know nothing solid of the service so will have it towed to Virginia. I am now in Gloucester.Virginia. A few years back I ran across a retired police officer driving a red '85 944 and he told me about a local guy in New Kent who does Porsche maintenance.
Someone here may already be familiar with this car as it has been all over the US, if so, please inform me so save time and money.
I know it's a shot in the dark, having learned my lesson, I want an experienced shop to replace the rubber before I get behind the wheel. Any assistance or guidance is welcome and thank you all. Rad
