I am going to install 17" cup 3 twist wheels on a 1989 944 s2. Do I need spacers and if I do need spacers, what size do I need? The wheels specs are as follows.

Rear. 17 x 9. Et 47. 255/40 17 tires
Front. 17 x 7 1/2. Et 52. 205/50 17 tires

Should be a bolt on. People put 993 wheels on 944 L8 cars all the time.

Once you try them on you'll know if you need spacers or not. Be sure to post some pictures, I'd like to see it.

not quite the same wheel but from a 911, I had to use 5mm on the front to clear the hub
