Default 1980 928 Convertible for sale on C.L. (absolutely no affiliation)

Hope this is not a repost, but I was scouring Craigslist for 928 parts this morning and came across a 1980 convertible conversion for sale. Thought someone here at Rennlist might be interested.

That car has been for sale for a couple of years. It rough from what I've been told. Tampa928s stopped to look at it a year ago. Maybe he can shed some light if you are interested.

I'd love to add that cab to the collection, but there is NO WAY I want to take on a project of that magnitude and I want one of the SUPER WIDE Cab's anyway! Where the hell is Hammer time Cab?!

I think we have discussed this car here several times.

James, I am not gonna give up hope until that car in in your signature pic. It needs you and you need it. How many RogerBox cabs can there be? The only other good option is for you to buy mine when I am tired of it and convert it to auto, which would be big project also. Plus I am not gonna be tired of it anytime soon.

Karl,

It would be cheaper to build up an auto in to a cab than convert one! Ok, not really, but you are right it is not cheap switching from one type trans to another, but I'll say this... It is easier to go from 5spd to Auto than the other way around I think!

I think I saw pics of Hammertime and I think it is an Auto...

I have an 86 convertible I could be talked out of for an outrageous price.
