Buggered expansion valve screw...
It seems the installer over-did tightening the remaining screw here, and I've only made it worse trying to get it out.
Recessed, no access for drilling, but the valve can be sacrificed, as long as I can keep chips out of the tubing. Dremel slots in the screw head?
Suggestions?

I drilled a hole in the firewall and used an ez out.
Done.

Mask everything up and cut a slot in the head/valve with a dremel and thin 1" grinding wheel. Heat a bit then use a stubby screw driver with something attached to it for leverage.
Or a hole like Kevin said, you could then plug it with a rubber grommet.

Tried a slot, but couldn't budge it with my angled screwdriver (such evil things). I'm cutting a slot right through the top of the valve and through the bolt. Awkward grinding, through aluminum and steel. The Dremel needs a rest before continuing. A drill might have been easier.

Here's the tool I fabricated
Ez-Out on a 4mm 1/4" socket. Hole has to be large enough for a 1/4" extension.

OK, got the old one out. No style points. Next time I'll do it your way, Kevin.
By the way, if there is a way to gently get those four tubes separated, I didn't find it. The one that goes to the fuel cooler is real stiff, even after releasing the cooler from it's clamp.
Wish me luck at the hardware store tomorrow - need a bolt.

Release the tubes from the firewall and remove the 10mm bolts that attach the fuel cooler to the firewall. That should give you enough play.
