Replacement shifter boot for GTS 5-speed?
Hi folks,
I'm having a surprisingly hard time finding this item. I found replacement shift boots that are not integrated into the ****, like the GTS one is. But that's about it.
I found a photo of a GTS boot that Paul Champagne did, but his site does not have links between pages, and the logical main pages, like www.designpaulchampage.com or www.designpaulchampage.com/leathersite, do not actually bring up main pages (404 or forbidden). It almost seems like he wants to keep his products secret. Googling brought up a page on his site for AT *****... again, no link to anything else.
Anyway, I'm looking for either a replacement boot with integrated ****, or a replacement boot that I can install onto the original shift ****. The main problem with the current one is that the leather on the **** itself is pretty worn.

GTS boots (with ****) are available new from any of our beloved suppliers.
Or, at least they were a couple of months ago (have a new one in a Porsche box here.)

Talked to Paul Champagne, and am in discussions to get a replacement boot from him. Much more reasonable than the OE price... and probably will be nicer.

roger can get them. Yes Pauls will be nicer. I wanted one in Mahagony colored leather, and Porsche never made one, so before Paul was around I bought a new one, and took it to a local place and had them redo it in the mahogany leather to match the console dash and other bits in the car. It looks like it belongs. It belongs so well, I made a custom shifter for the corvette trans going in so I could use the same shift boot.
