Default Things to Check Specifically for an early GTS car

Quick questions for the masses:

Besides the issues with crank end play, thrust bearing, WP/TB, fuel lines, power steering lines, etc for all Porsche 928 potential purchases, what specific items are needed to be addressed for early GTS models? Specifically early '93 auto?

thanks
Hoi

Flexplate preload and thrust bearing failure is the "big one", with GTS engines. People will cut the three wires to the oil pressure gauge so that oil pressure reads at 5 bar....by just turning on the key!

Top of piston inspection for carbon from excessive oil consumption.

Time of engagement when shifting into reverse....Reverse band material wears rapidly in some 1993 models.

Camshaft deterioration (valve covers must be removed to see this) caused by high oil temperatures.

Damage to front oil cooler, front oil cooler protection piece, front valance, and undertray from bottoming out.

Rear wheels bent and cracked from hitting relatively minor potholes on thie inner rim.

14 pin wiring loom deterioration.

Head gasket deterioration from coolant not being changed often enough and car sitting.

Watch out for dead hookers in the rear hatch area.

I have a late '93, but the one "gotcha" I had was a crappy PSD. I know it's not specific to a GTS, but if you're looking for things to really look at during a PPI, I'd add it to the list. That was an unexpected $1.5 - $2K to get that all sorted out.
