Will Carrera 3 wheels fit
I'm hoping someone can give me advice on wheels I'm considering for my '91 S4. I have factory rolled lips on my rear fenders. I need to know whether 8" et57 fronts and 11" et51 rears will fit? Does anyone have these on an S4 with these offsets? Will I need spacers? Can I use my factory lug nuts? The rears concern me and I really don't want to find out after the fact that I've got a major fender problem. Also if they will fit what tires are best - 295/30-18? Sorry but I know little about this so any help from the list would be appreciated!

The front wheels will fit- whether they will work is another question altogether. The front suspension is designed for a NSR [negative scrub radius] of 65mm. Those are 7mm short of a picnic. Many run such wheels- some of us would not. Those are better than some but nonetheless not what they should be.
Regarding the rear wheels with 11 inch rims you need a 295x30 section - based on experience with my late 90S4 and wider wheels I would think that combination of rubber and offset will be very tight. In that regard you need a specific recommendation from someone who has fitted that combination and I seem to remember recent threads covering that.

Hi
Running the 10" on the rear with 265 and 8" on the front with 235. I could use spacers on the rear with no rolled fenders but not sure about 11".
Can't say I notice any difference with the et of 57 on the front. I have got my 16" rims which I would use if I was going to do a long trip of over 1000 miles just for the comfort factor. In NZ you just need anything sticky for those winding fantastic roads around the Coromandel!!

They fit well and are one of the better available choices for 18" Porsche Factory Rims. I have run them for thousands of street miles and thousands of track laps. No issues. 235 up front, 295 rear. 315 is possible with aggressive fender roll, agressive rear camber and exactly the right tire. Never seen an issue with NSR.
