Well if anyone wants to buy it and part it rather than fix it, put me down for the rear seats since they are my same color combo.

The seller reserve has been met. It's currently at $6100 with 2 hours to go...

I've nearly given up on buying at insurance auctions because more them 75% of my winning bids get rejected only to have them run it again looking for more

Well, the mileage is now listed as "Exempt", not "Actual".

Maybe the buyer found out what the actual mileage on the car is and backed out.

So Mark, how do they get away with that?
I believe it, I'm not a big fan of insurance carriers as s rule, but how can they pull that.
If they set the reserve, and it is met, how can the seller legally back out?

Man, I had a green light from the tower.
Then it soared past 6K. I am out.

Do we know it met the reserve? I must have missed that.
Similar auctions I've bid at involving an insurance company or other dealerships selling, you don't know there is a reserve until after the highest bid is accepted. Then you find out there is a "call", go over to the office where they attempt to contact the seller and you start the negotiations.

I've seen cars go through 4-5 times only to finally sell for less than the first winning bid.

The reserve on this one showed up early on that it hadn't been triggered then on the final day the note about the reserve was gone. It would make me assume that the reserve was met but who knows with Copart. Its a crap shoot.

But I agree with you, I've never seen any car get bid up to the original amount the first time through on subsequent auctions. I've noticed the same phenomenon on eBay auctions quite often...

So, I was on a field trip with the kidos.

What was the final price?

Anyone on here get it?
