I could have sworn I renewed this just last year for 2 years. Don't usually pay attention to my avatar status. Good Catch. Anyway just renewed again for two years.

Now back to the task at hand Blink'r anyone?

It appears the expiration notice is not going out. I've talked to a few people who expired recently and did not get a notice.

Interesting timing. I just cobbled one together based on Porken's Posts last night because I could not find one locally in time for the weekend. It's not pretty, but it works.
If you have some banana plugs, wire, a couple 12v bulbs ( or LED + resistor), alligator clip and a switch, you can put one together from this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...-85-86-us.html. if you pick up the relay he mentions and rip it up, even better, as it get rid of the need for banana plugs and is a little easier to use.

Thank you! I saw a mention of someone making one, then I was another post of someone not being able to find the relay. I'll see if I can find the items necessary and build one.

The relay is only needed because it puts everything in one package and makes the tools less cumbersome to use.
Banana plugs are available at any Radio Shack, but a 91161510901 relay ( or VW equivalent) may be harder to get on a weekend

Just in case you missed this note added by Ken, I did not use a resistor most newer Auto LED's have them built in

"Late added notes
- A '12V' LED can be used w/o a resistor. (12V LEDs have an internal resistor.)
- The WOT switch can be tested using a '5V' LED between B & C. (B is 5V until the WOT switch is closed.)"

Thanks! I have the plugs and start with that and star looking for the relay.

I noticed that. I have some 9V on hand at the moment but no 12. I may see if AutoZone has them.
Once I get all the parts, It will turn out one of two ways. (1) I'll make it without needing additional assistance or (2) I will be staring at all the parts like a pig staring at a wrist watch.

As noted, I cobbled together a Blink'r the other night. Went to use it last night. Problem is that the other part of Porken's kit is the custom flexible extended hex key to actually adjust the MAF. I tried every tool I had and jury rigged a few with no joy. When the MAF seam is proper alignment with the nub, the adjustment screw is aligned to make your life difficult.

Here is a thread I posted with a suitable replacement for Porsche tool 9230 used to adjust the MAF--from Harbor Freight: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...placement.html.

Good luck with your efforts.

I bought the components and waiting on the relay. Is the switch an SPST or SPDT given the switch performs 2 Functions MAF CO and WOT monitoring functions?

SPST. The switch only connects B/WOT to C/ground.

The WOT switch test is done with the engine off, ignition on, B not connected to C.
