I had same thing happen to me...because my cable was fraying it wasn't traveling easily or returning to rest smoothly. Interesting how a small thing like this can make a difference on these cars, which is something I really like..every time you do something...even small...these cars are built in such a way it almost always makes a difference you can see/feel.
