1981 928 Fuel Tank
Hi Guys
Can anyone tell me if a 1986 928 fuel tank fit in a 1981 928?
Thanks

They are all the same from late 78-95.

So there is a difference between early and late '78? Curious '78 owner wants to know.

78 and 79 are different. 80 and up are the same. The contour is larger on 78 and 79 and the cradle is different as well.

The early 78 uses a stainless steel gas cap which is a different size and also has a different size hole for the strainer in the tank.
