Just how rare is this car?

718 5-speeds, 362 are GTs and 356 are S4s. 267 of the S4 have Limited slip diffs, 35 of those have a driver's side sport seats (but only 34 have the passenger sport seat, that must look interesting...), 21 of those have sport shocks, 14 of those have a sunroof, 12 of those have a tinted windshield, 3 have the impact absorbers.
All 3 are UK market and all three have the M330 Blaupunkt Toronto SQR46.
So from an options standpoint, it's 1 of 3. There.

and already have two engines which are more powerful anyway...
if anything I am thinking of a nut and bolt restoration and then a sale to see if I like playing with these cars as a business rather than a hobby
alternatively, I realize that this car is the perfect base for a Singer-like 928
decisions, decisions...

An 89 S4 ROW with RDK is very rare. I am thinking that there could not have been more than handful built with that opiton.
But, it's a funny thing to really judge rareness by as so many people dislike the RDK system. (Not me but many others.)

If you run into a 928 1988/1989 with a SP after the engine number, you must have seen a Club Sport or Roger Tyson's SE. Only blueprinted engines with GT-like cams specifically chosen by the factory for their power had this stamped...

I try to register the CS and SE and I still need to find some of them...
In particular, I need to find 6 CS, even if I think that 2 of them were destroyed in 1989.
I think that SP means "SPezial" but I need to find an official proof.
