Paul,

Welcome back!

I'm interested in one of these, but dont see where the "unlock" mechanism between certain gear selections is described. I am hoping there is no button and it is simply a push-down (or pull up) mechanism?

Why didn't you spring for the six speed option? It's tried, true & tested.

Hey Carlos,

that is exactly what it is. Push down to unlock.

Please email me directly and we can go into details.

Yup, the 87. Still in storage and a bit dirty, couldn't wait to install it though.

Thinking about a dash / center console using the same black leather & titanium stitching.

I'm still on the fence straying from a stock looking interior on this car, figured the shifter I could have some fun with since it's easily changed & moved to a different car.

Do you have a boot similar to the one I showed? Mine is a wee bit too short to cover that plastic spacer section.

Tonight I installed my Paul Champagne shifter **** and boot and let me tell ya what a beauty! I was having an issue and reached out to Paul for help. I swear he responded back in about 6 minutes. Now that is service.

I've spent so much time on mechanicals in the last 5 months that I'm only beginning on interior stuff but here is a pic for everyone. Definately recommend Pauls work and top notch service.
