928 Investing : Derek Bell & Club Sport
I met Derek at a Bentley fundraiser last night and we chatted about his old Club Sport. The one that sold at a Bonhams auction recently for $268,000.
He sold it in 2005 for $12,000
We know that the 928 is getting the attention it deserves and the cash is following...
But, those of you with truly unique examples. Hold on for another few years.
Derek wishes he had.... The Ferrari he bought with the proceeds of the $12k 928 sale is now worth 'only' $150,000

Ever heard of VanD and his collection?
Every single one of his cars is unique.
Not only does he actually like those funky colors, but also those cars are precisely the ones that will fetch the most in the collector's world. (no one liked those colors when they were new).
Alex is going to be rolling in it in another 10-15 years

Our 5-speed Iris Blue '94 may be going to market in the next year or two.
