Plenty of time from now till then to shake out the cobwebs.

928's love long road trips. My 87 has never failed me on multiple trips to SITM and Frenzy. Limped home once or twice, but always made it. If your maintenance is up to date I would not worry much.

Not to worry doc928. I suspect that there will be at lease one person there that would know the mechanical workings of a 928. Worse come to worse, my CAA plus could get you to Smiths Falls, then you will have to leap frog to someone else's CAA. Lol

If there is enough interest I'm thinking of scouting out a hotel for the Saturday night. Somewhere that we can get together and eat all in one location.

I have a place in mind, but need to go see them first.

If we did this the itinerary would look something like this:

Saturday August 26th
3:00 pm Arrivals at the hotel
6:00 pm Dinner (A la Carte, Location TBD)
7:00 Parking lot shenanigans & show n shine

Sunday August 27th
9:00 am Cruise briefing
9:30 am Depart for cruise
1:00 pm Lunch (Location TBD)
2:00 pm Parking lot and goodbyes

Hotel great idea otherwise I have to pay the downtown Buffalo hotel and extra night on my dime. Schedule for Saturday is perfect for me.

I ended up in two (interesting) motels last year to manage the full day schedule. Your proposal would work far better for me!
