Default Digital Clock LCD replacement - How to

Has any replaced the LCD? I bought the LCD. It arrived without any instructions. I see the thread has been 'kacked'.

Take lots of pictures, start with taking apart a junk spare. If you don't do any damage then use it, otherwise keep practicing on junk spares.

Default 944 LCD

I found this, it's for a 944. Maybe it'll help.

That is close. I found a link to converting the 24 hour clock to 12. It has complete instructoins - complete enough for me to attempt. I will post pictures of replacement process.

Make sure you thoroughly clean the contact strip with alcohol before installing to ensure that all the LCD segments get powered correctly. It takes very careful alignment to get working. Good luck!

The 944 is similar but different in it's internal construction requiring a new chip. It's a pretty simple process.

I thought the 928 clock may toggle between 12 and 24 hour mode as there is an option on the 944 clock as I recall.
