If it turns you off then fine, but I have not seen a CAR ONLY 928 calendar happen and sell AT ALL...and I can't tell you how many emails I got the first year I didn't sell a calendar. Not enough to justify another run, but there were a lot of fans out there.

But to each his own.

I forgot about RKD's efforts. But like he said he didn't even sell 75 of them and he put a ton of effort in to the undertaking. I couldn't do all the PS work so I had to get a friend to help with that.

Like RKD, I gave profits to a local animal shelter...I love dogs!

Me too.... great calendars...

Most recently got the one from the guy in the UK...nice one too.

I made one a couple years ago using stock photo's and going to Costco. Around $10 per calendar (12") and I think $17 for a 18". Took me all of an hour to put together and didn't look to shabby. Gave out a bunch to our local PacNW folks...

Might just have to do it again.

I'm kind of surprised there hasn't been a transition to paperless calendars. I.e., a place where people could dump hi-rez pictures and then people could pick/choose what pictures they want to download and create their own rolling screen saver, screen calendar, background, poster, whatever. A Rennlist thread won't work as we've all seen the asshats that have to trash picture only threads with the first thought that enters their brain and never post a picture. But a photobucket might work. Just a shower thought...

And James, fwiw, don't let these big meanie-pants get you down. I still have every calendar you ever made, and so do others I'm sure
