84' 928 Front fogs not working.
I am a little confused as to which lights are aux. driving light and which are fog lights.
The switch below the headlight switch says Fog lights in manual and is fuse 1
When the headlight switch is turned on the outer lights automatically come on, which I am guessing are the aux. driving lights and the two inner are fog lights.
Aux. lights are Fuse 2
Here is my dilema, I have power to fuse 1. (fog lights), but when I turn switch on there are no lights.
Fuse 2 has no power and is aux lights, which work when the headlights are turned on.
When I was testing fuses I accidentally touched fuse 3 with fuse 2 and the fog lights came on.
Wondering if previous owner mixed up wiring at lights.

If it's a Euro Grey Market import, then all bets are off.
Originally, the outer lights are fog lights that also have a dimmer parking light in the housing. The inners are driving lights that come on with the high beams.
US cars have only a parking light on the outside, and a fog light on the inside.
The confusion comes in because the "federalization" process was supposed to bring the cars into compliance with US requirements. Some cars had the fog/driving lights converted fully to US operation, some weren't converted at all, some were partially switched over.
In my car, the lights themselves were switched from Euro fog/parking and driving lights to US parking and fog lights. But the operation wasn't converted much, so the inside lights were synched to the high beams, and the outside were parking only. No fog light operation. The wiring was still all there, so I found a way to install a LED bulb into the parking light housing and hook it up to the intact wiring for the fog lights. It now operates the way it's supposed to, even though the light housings aren't quite right.
I'd like to find a set of Euro fog/driving lights to make it "correct", but it's ok as it is.
