Default New Service: Injector Wiring Harnesses Rebuilding

We have a new solution to those facing a deteriorating injector wiring harness: send it in to us and we will go through the complete harness and rebuild it for you.

Each wire in the harness is tested and any wire showing high resistance or broken insulation is cut out and replaced. All the 2-conductor and 3 conductor AMP connectors are upgraded with new squeeze-to-release models. The 5 or 6 conductor connectors and all other connectors are replaced as needed and available. On some connectors that are NLA, a fully functional substitution may be made. All connections are soldered. New grounds are also installed and they are soldered as well. The loom is completely replaced and all the wires re-wrapped. See before and after pics below.

This service is done on a time-and materials basis - price will vary depending how bad the harness you send in is. The one in these pictures was fairly typical, all the usual broken insulators and connectors. This one came in at about $960 complete. New - if you can find them - these are often over $1600 from Porsche.

We ask you to remove your complete wiring harness and send it in for you to rebuild it for you. Do NOT cut it to get it out! Call for advice on how to remove it if you are not sure.

We have other solutions for your injector wiring harness too:

We sell the connectors and room-temp-vulcanizing boot and repair tape so you can do some of it yourself here: http://www.928electrical.com/

...or you can upgrade your computers and you get a new injector wiring harness in the bargain, not to mention you get rid of that MAF sensor that isn't getting any younger either here:

Anyway, we now provide a third option for those struggling with injector wiring harness gremlins.

turn-around time is about 1 week from the time we get it under most circumstances.
