Default New to me 1987 928 S4

I received my new to me S4 today from California today. I chronicled my 1989 Targa here with over 29k hits so far. It went to a good home in California with a thoughtful owner.

https://rennlist.com/forums/911-foru...989-targa.html

While I had a lot of work done to the car before shipping it to Houston, there is still more to do. The level of detail in the posts here has been quite helpful.

I bought a 50,000 mile two owner car. I have had the torque tube, water pump and timing belt done, along with all the fluids in the car. Fuel lines are next.

Here are some photos:

The owner of the '87 S4 we were working on would die for those wheels - they just look right on an S4 I think. What is the front offset?

Very nice! This one looks almost identical to the one that sold on Bring a Trailer a few weeks ago. Is it this car?

Welcome to the 928 world.

Nice looking example, hope she treats you well...and yes, get those fuel lines replaced asap.

GT6ixer: I saw that 87 S4 on Bring A Trailer. It was not my car, but a great comp with only 4k more miles. Strong money.

Yeah what threw me were the wheels and the buyer later mentioned that he drove it home to Houston. Go figure! Anyway congrats. The '87 S4 is my favorite year of that model.
