FWIW, the next SITM is the 20th and the 40th anniversary of the 928.
Just my opinion, but I think it would be great if people put their energy into supporting SITM (if schedules allow). DR & Jeannie have been very selfless in supporting the community for a long time and I, for one, think it would be great if SITM 20 was as awesome as Frenzy 20!

Their website says June 2-4, 2017. Still a little close in time, but far away from the northeast.
I will be going down to talk with a few hotels, but I think either the Best Western, Holiday Inn or Quality Inn on Murray ST. Lots of dining options in the area and walking distance to the falls, the casino etc.
Stay tuned for more info once I have secured a location.
So, I offered this to my wife as a week-long get away, complete with things she likes to do. I suggested we take the week off, head up into the region on Monday and spend the week kayaking and fishing, and finish with the weekend 928 event, then head home.
So, she's onboard with the week off, she's on board with the fishing and kayaking (two of her favorite activities), she on board with going to 928s in Niagara. Where's the disconnect, you ask?
She doesn't want to take the 928!
I mean, Seriously! And I actually ordered a Yakima rack so we could mount the kayaks on the 928, which will be AWESOME.
So, I'm pretty sure someone is going, but at this point I'm not sure if it's going to be:
Me in the Shark.
Cat and me and the Shark with kayaks on top.
Cat and me in her Jeep with kayaks on top.
I'm pretty determined that it's going to be one of the first two. I 'm hoping for the second, but we'll see!

It may be easier to rent kayaks here if that helps you both come in the shark.
I want to see teeth painted on those kayaks. And, by the way, you might want to check out some YouTube videos before heading over to the river. There are some epic drops.
