Default Foglights connector....

My recent acquired foglights for my -87 had no connectors. It was stripped so I either need to strip the corresponding wire or preferably find a fitting connector.
Searched the web with no luck.
Anyone know if these connectors are available ?

The connectors and cable are usually part of the back housing, which mounts to the bumper. Did you get the whole assembly-- lens, reflectors and back housing-- or only the front part?

The cable is maybe half a meter long, with slip-on spade connectors at the light end (to connect directly to the H3 lamps), and a three-pin "Surseal" rubber plug at the other end to plug into the car harness.

Porsche only sells the complete assembly (or the lens/reflector), not the back housing or cable separately. The best option is probably to find a local breaker or used parts source. (The cable is wired differently for US and ROW cars-- the fog and driving lights are reversed in position for the US-spec cars).

The fog and driving lights are reversed for USA-spec versus Euro, so all you need to do is swap two pins in the rubber 3-pin connector that connects to the car harness.

Pboden,

When you say fog lights, do you mean the fog light lens and bulb enclosures? Like this:

or the box that this mounts in on the bumper:

I mean the three pin rubber connector that connected to the foglight.

I was actually thinking about using a 9003 connector on both ends instead.

Assistant please....
Have started to hardwire the wires going to the foglight, but Iam probably not doing it right. I get voltage reading from one wire (Grayish). The other three is one brown(ground) and two are white with one red and one green stripe. Which wire go where ?

I would appreciate if somebody could supply a picture of how the wires should be connected inside the foglight.

Thanks
