Sounds great! Fassler Hall is pretty cool down around automobile alley for some German fare.

I'd also suggest checking out the Marriott Renaissance Convention Center Hotel, which connects via skybridge to the *** Convention Center. Great setup for an OCIC, with the Bricktown entertainment district only 2 blocks to the east.

So you guys want me to try to put together a Satruday/Nite GTG thing here in OKC or a regular Saturday breakfast/lunch like the DFW group that spills over on occasion?

OKC Cars and Coffee is 1st Saturday like the DFW GTG the local PCA even stopped having their breakfast that Saturday. Otherwise would suggest meet up at the cars a coffee, then go somewhere for lunch afterwards.

Or maybe make it a regular Saturday brunch/lunch thing so the out-of-towners have a chance to drive in.

I would note that OKC's Cars and Coffee is huge. Maybe not DFW or SOCAL big, but the couple of times I've been there, probably 500+ cars in attendance. Everything from American muscle to Euro exotics and everything in between. Pretty cool!

I think a Fri. or Sat. Evening or afternoon get together and dinner would be good.

I'd love to see some nice 928's

Richard,
I would stay away from the C&C weekends for a GTG. Pick another weekend that doesn't conflict, and make it an ongoing thing. I personally don't enjoy the whole C&C scene. I like the cars; it's the idiot drivers that come along with the cars with which I have problems.

Depending on the weekend I'd be in for an OKC or Tulsa weekend.

The problem with setting up a monthly meeting for lunch or dinner in bricktown is parking so everyone can park close.

There is a Sonic Drive In headquarters that has a parking lot on the East side of bricktown, south across the street from the ballpark. There is a hotel next door to the east. The marriot and convention center is on the west side of bricktown. They are about 3 blocks apart with all the bricktown joints in between. The local PCA has gotten permission an used the Sonic headquarters parking lot for car shows on Saturday's.

Maybe we could arrange with Sonic to use their parkinglot one Saturday a month for GTG and eat lunch or dinner at one of the bricktown restaurants? Don't think there is much open for breakfast in bricktown.

There is a IHOP in Bricktown next to the ball park. And even though you would have to pay for the parking there is a good lot next to Zio's.

Wasn't thinking about whether it was a pay lot or not, was thinking everyone having a place to park so the cars would be together.
