Different size fuel strainers?
Are there different size fuel tank strainers?
I need one for a 1979 but it seems to be no longer available.
I have a parts book that lists a 36mm and a 37mm version for later years but anyone who has them available says they are all the same.
Is this part one size fits all or not?
Brian.

IIRC, there was a thread not long ago about this. It seem the early, early fuel tank used the smaller fuel strainer and that was superseded by the larger.
Call Roger at 928sRus. He will have the lowdown and know which one you will need.

The later one fits fine - the difference is slight.

It must have been very early as I fitted new strainers in both of my 78 cars plus the 79.
Looking at the numbers in PET it would be early.
