The estate really should throw a battery in it since thats all it needs. IMO its going to be a hard sell not hearing it run. Looks nice though. I hope a lister gets it.

For those needing a PPI Sean has one ready as we spent some time with the car this morning.
Very very stock unmolested car with low miles. As is the car needs all the usual maintenance but could be a concourse car with not much effort cosmetically.

So, around $5,000 worth of catchup maintenance? Will they be posting a price or taking offers like an auction?

Emailed the guy, be he wasn't helpful.

Thanks

Liver/Kidney Microsome?

What? I thought we were doing this.

Where's Dan? He would bite.

Doc, Roger said if you have to ask the price, you should stay home

No enough miles on it for me. Probably needs every seal and gasket.

No numbers. The gentleman took 2 days to get back to me and has not replied again for another 2 days. Asked him if there is an asking price or is it going to an auction for it. Since he asked Sean and Roger to take the time to look at it (I hope they paid for a PPI), I am pretty sure there should be an asking price coming within the next week. Maybe either by replying my emails or through Roger.

However, its frustrating that the estate planner asked Roger to help spread the word out, then neglecting to follow up on his own end (the contact person I mean).

We did as much of a PPI as we could with out the car running/driving. From looking at the belt I wasn't even going to crank it over to attempt it as it sure looked like it was original.

The car is a very nice, plain Jane S4. All original, and by that I mean nothing is changed, modified, or maintained. It needs everything maint wise. I told the guy that I'd get the belt/pump done immediately and then they should attempt to start and drive it. Then they will know exactly what it needs.

I need to finish up the PPI paperwork and get it over to him and that will most likely happen on Monday. Got a bunch going on this weekend.

I finally could, but won't. Too nice for me!
And, I found the drill of buying a orginalish car only to swap out everything rubber/soft to make it suitable for use, unrewarding. Glad some folks are out there doing that, and also keeping them under glass though.

Everything has a price. If one were so inclined, one could buy virginity for a fee. As for asking, I do realize that's a very gauche thing to do but I am - the bottom feeder, and I've ponied up my share of money here and there. No, I'm not Trump but I can write the check - if it wasn't black.
