I believe Stan (MrMerlin) has this set-up or had this set-up on the one he sold.

Hopefully he'll post a pic. I've had my manholes blasted and sanded super smooth so now thinking whether to powder coat or polish. I have a good powder coater that can match the anodize colour in a satin finish.

My 84 from ~10 years ago. Not an OB, but may help.

Cheers guys. Yep...gunna go with the polished and lower it. Anders, did the intake ducts work out ok? It took a while for them to get there I noticed.

Yes they were perfect. haven't had time to fit them yet though.
They arrived after a week so that's OK. Thanks again.

I really like the look of the polished wheels. My painted wheels are in rough shape, what would it take to strip them and polish?

I had mine sand blasted. The guy used a very fine grade media and low pressure. They came out brilliant. I used some coarse sand paper and a file to finish off the small nicks around the edge of the rim. Now they are smooth as a babies proverbial.

Otto's is my favorite. The pearl interior has to be seen in person. Photos can't capture the pearliness (wow..it's actually a word).
