Hopefully someone else will have a seat to offer you, but if need be, we can squeeze 3 into my 928.

I have no problem riding in the back of a 928, as long as long as a front seat and hatch/glass are removed Jon just PM'd me saying he has room (up front!) TY and look forward to this event. Note: Host hotel say there are free shuttles running every 30 minutes to and from Dulles Airport (IAD) T

That's a great photo, Tony! LOL

I would have had my son, James, take the back seat, not you, but he's close to 6-foot now. Maybe I'd better check to see whether he still fits back there!

Glad you got a ride squared away with Jon.

There will likely be local craft nano breweries represented at Oktoberfest. I'm seeing a new trend toward very high ABV. Something to keep in mind when considering the drive back to the hotel.

Just a reminder. We had great success with Glympse last year.

Glympse (http://glympse.com/) has both Android and IOS versions. It's too easy to use and you don't even need to register. You tell it to 'Share' your location, with whom, for how long, and where you're going and it updates you and updates your map. Plus, anyone can see everyone's location and progress using any computer, so someone at the hotel can see how we're doing as well.

To share to a group, you have to send you location to a name with an '!' in front. So, download Glympse and when you get going, share your location and destination with '!928Frenzy20', and we'll all have visibility with how each of us is doing by going to http://glympse.com/!928Frenzy20.

Here are a couple of links about the app:
Here's the internet screen.

Make sure when using the app that you click the check box to share your speed. That's always fun

^This. Watching folks hit near triple-digit speeds on the way to Frenzy is entertaining.

Near triple-digit? Oh - now I remember - Glympse seems to peg speeds to two-digits. Perhaps that's for the best.

Joel,

You're all set as far as registration.

I didn't have a separate check box on the registration form for "participating in Fun Run" because:
1. I figured almost everyone attending Frenzy would come on the Fun Run or at least make it over to Oktoberfest via a direct route at their own pace
2. I forgot.

I like the idea of using Glympse. I finally got a smart phone in April. So, this year will be my first Fun Run equipped with modern technology!

Glympse is very easy to use. If you need help, send me a PM and I'll give you a call and walk you through it.
